I’m José Luis, a Divemaster, freediver, and underwater photographer with a passion for seeking wild encounters with marine animals in their natural habitat and exploring the most beautiful and surreal places beneath the surface, such as cenotes. I’ve had the opportunity to share the water with more than 7 different species of sharks, crocodiles, blue whales, sperms whales, dolphins, giant manta rays, manatees and some of the best-preserved corals in the world in Raja Ampat. Diving opened my eyes to a vibrant world beneath the surface, allowing me to forge a deep connection with the present moment. In those mesmerizing depths and wonderful wild encounters, you're forced to let go of the past and the future, immersing yourself in the here and now.
