Description
Ready to enjoy your dives in one of the best diving destinations in the world?
You will dive with the best dive shop in Cabo Pulmo, focused on customers and working with small groups to ensure you enjoy the flora and fauna of Baja California, you will see fish, not fins!
The Cabo Pulmo National Park is one of the most important areas of the Sea of Cortez region. This importance lies in the large number of marine species that inhabit the place and in which the only living coral reef in the northernmost part of the Americas is located in its waters, it is the only hard reef in the entire peninsula of Baja California .
Thanks to the initiative and effort, mainly from the community, scientists, academics, civil organizations and municipal, state and federal governments, a marine reserve of 7,111 hectares was created on June 6, 1995, with the National Park category. The protection and recovery of the marine community and the reef has allowed the return of migratory species such as the whale shark, giant blankets, humpback whales, sea turtles and sharks.
In your dives you will feel overwhelmed by the great coral reefs, the famous schools of jacks, sea lions, different tropical fish and if you are especially interested in Bull Sharks, we recommend the October and November season.
The average dive depth in Cabo Pulmo’s most interesting sites varies between 55-70 feet. There are also some very shallow coral dives that are of great interest, and the Bahia de los Frailes site have dives of more than 100 feet.
The season with better visibility is during summer and autumn, mainly between July and November.
