Have you ever dive in a World War II ship? In Cancún we have two!

Sunken Ship C-55:

The USS Ransom (AM-283) was a class-Admirable minesweeper that was built for the United States Navy during the World War II. It was awarded three battle stars for service in the Pacific during that war. It participated also in the Korean War and was sold to the Mexican Navy in 1962. In 1994 it was renamed "ARM Teniente Juan de la Barrera (C55)".

It was intentionally sunk in May 2000 to create an artificial reef. This beautiful site is home to many snappers, barracudas, lobsters, green moray eels and eagle rays.

This dive has a maximum depth of 80 feet and the boat is divided into 3 sections.

Sunken Ship C-58:

The USS Harlequin (AM-365) was a class-Admirable minesweeper built for the United States Navy during World War II. It served in the Atlantic during that war. It was decommissioned in May 1946 and placed on reserve. In October of 1962, it was sold to the Mexican Navy and in 1993 it was renamed "ARM General Pedro María Anaya".

Hurricane Wilma divided this ship into two sections. It is possible to dive both sections if the weather and current conditions allow it.

Check inn 7:30 am boat leaves 8:00 am. You will be back around 12:30 pm

Both the C-55 and C-58 are amazing wreck dives just outside the bay of Cancun, with a max depth of 85ft.

Besides from diving one of these two sunken ships, we will take you to one of the most famous reefs in Cancun, with an average depth of 50 ft where you can continue enjoying this paradisiacal place!
