Quintana Roo is one of the few privileged places in the world to welcome the largest fish in the ocean to its waters every year – the whale shark!
This wonderful animal can reach a length of 12m and the average is around 8m. It is an animal revered by cultures around the world due to its incomparable beauty and gentleness, despite its enormous size.
This activity does not represent any danger.
Pick up will be at your hotel in Holbox at approximately 6:45 am and you will be given an optional breakfast of fruit salad or a ham and cheese sandwich.
You will be taken to the dock and introduce you to the captain and guide, who will welcome you and give you safety instructions, as well as a description of the activities to be carried out.
You will go on the "search" for whale sharks, which will take between 1 hour 45 minutes to 2 hours to reach the area depending on weather conditions and you will start snorkeling with whale sharks, there are always two people with the guide and each couple snorkel twice with whale sharks.
Then you will return to the "Cabo Catoche" area to snorkel looking for turtles, stingrays, nurse sharks and many types of fish. Then you will enter the mangrove where you will go down for a walk, take photos and eat fish or shrimp ceviche.

Due to changes in the price of the dollar, we specify that after paying the 27% deposit through the website, the remaining amount to be paid per person in the marina will be $2500 pesos or its equivalent in dollars at the exchange rate of the day.

Bring a long sleeve t-shirt instead of any sun block
Help us protect our beautiful oceans by not wearing sunblock before swimming, unless it is reef safe and biodegradable – the chemicals damage the coral reef and sealife
