1.- Kayak tour to fully enjoy the nature in the Xcalak National Park, a remote area located 37 miles to the South of Mahahual village.

The route starts under and old collapsed bridge in the Huach river, where we go with the kayak into one of the most beautiful mangrove ecosystems in Mexico. An exuberant landscape formed by three types of different mangroves will immerse us in a wild and photogenic ecosystem.

We will enjoy three different lanscapes: the winding river meanders; the labyrinthine and twisted channels among the mangrove and the open lagoons where lots of wild birds live.

In the five-hour tour we will also have time for a enjoying a picnic and resting under a comfortable palapa or taking a refreshing bath in the lagoon before departing back to Mahahual.

2.- Another day we will snorkel in Mahahual to enjoy, from our boat, of the wide flora and fauna biodiversity that the Great Mayan Barrier offers. In its tourquoise waters you will find beautiful corals and tropical fishes.

The activity consists of a practice session in the beach, in which you will see basic concepts and do exercises to practice underwater such as:

- Review the diving equipment you will use to dive and how easy it is to move underwater with your equipment.
- Find out what it feels like to breathe underwater.
- Learn key skills that you will use in each dive.
- Have fun swimming and exploring.

After the class, you will perform a dive to a maximum depth of 12 meters in one of the most famous reefs of Mahahual, where you can test your new acquired skills and enjoy this paradisiac place.
