Description
Cenote Dos Ojos is certainly the most filmed and photographied cenote in the Riviera Maya. These two neighboring cenotes, connnected by a large cavern, are part of one of the two largest underwater rivers in the world.
Dos Ojos is formed by two sinkholes approximately 70 meters in diameter, connected by a 400 meter long corridor.
In this tour you will be guided through the underground river, where you can see crystal clear waters, the incredible play of light that forms the sun when entering the water, stalactites, stalagmites, some fish and bats that live in a cave that bears his name (Bat Cave).
The water temperature all year round is between 24 ° and 25 ° (76-77 F).
The tour lasts 2.5 hours and is open in some places and covered elsewhere.
The visibility through the water is incredible and offers wonderful light effects. It is very likely that you have never seen such crystal clear waters.
Definitely an activity in a unique place! Prepare to feel the energy of the Maya underworld!
The day will start with your pick up where your staying in Playa del Carmen (hotel or AirBnb), then your guide will take you to the Cenote, after snorkeling you’ll have a lunch and then they will drop you at your hotel or AirBnb.

We had a spectacular day! The whole family loved it! Chino and Fidel took such good care even taught my daughters how to snorkel. It was their first time and he gave them a great first experience! Fidel had patience and also made sure to photograph my millennial daughter Maya. My son Jonathan loved diving with the professional tech diver Chino who is so passionate about the cenotes. Seeing is about the people guiding you - and we were lucky to have them as our mentors. Hector also made sure to buy the appropriate food - my daughter said it was the best food in Mexico. Happy to have new friends from Mexico!
