Description
Cenote Dream Gate, as its name says, is a gateway to the world of dreams. It is part of the Sac Actun system, one of the three largest of the world.
The maximum depth of this Cenote is about 30 feet and is one of the most decorative and impressive caverns in the area, so you must have adequate buoyancy, since it is a very delicate environment and the rock formations (stalactites, stalagmites and columns) are very fragile.
It is one of the preferred Cenotes and has been the subject of several documentaries, it has a dome where you can see the roots of the jungle trees that cross the rocks to reach the water, as well as bats and you may find some of the blind fish that inhabit the place.
Here you will realize 2 dives where you can also find haloclines (where fresh water mixes with salt water) and beautiful passages.
If you want to observe beautiful millenary rock formations, this is the right place!
