Boca Paila Lagoon is found in the mouths of Muyil and Chunyaxche lagoongs. We will visit the natural channels and go in the search of Manatees, Crocodiles and exotic birds in the direction to the channel that connects with Muyil Lagoon.
Once we reach the Muyil lagoon, we take a boat across two lagoons connected by an artificial canal that has been in use for many centuries. Xlapak is the name of the building at the beginning of the lazy river and the start of an incredible floating experience in crystal clear pluvial water on its way to the Caribbean Sea. We float for over 30 minutes surrounded by mangroves, orchids, bromeliads and cacti while we hear the sounds of nature.
A delicious picnic with seasonal fruits, tortas and vegetarian option is included in the tour.
Tour Program:
● 10:00 am – 10:30 am: Pick up at your hotel (Tulum) or meeting point in air conditioned Vans.
● We take the boat for the excursion
●Manatee, Crocodiles, Cenote and bird sighteeing.
● Take a boardwalk through an interpretative trail until reaching the Muyil Lagoon.
● Start of the lazy river flotation from Xlapak building.
● Vegetarian lunch.
● 3:00 pm – 3:30 pm: Drop off at your hotel.
