Duration: 8 hours
Location: Tulum
Description
SIAN KA'AN
AVAILABLE EVERY MONDAY AND THURSDAY (min 4 people to operate).
* For private tours an extra fee of $55 USD per person applies.
An alternative means to visit the biosphere is to do so by bicycle - leaving NO carbon footprint inside this
exquisite nature reserve. With increased development all around Tulum and increasing levels of pollution in our oceans year upon year, you have the opportunity to lend the reserve (and your body!) a helping hand by using a healthy form of transport. We ride by bike between sea and mangroves, boat through the lagoons home of crocodiles, manatees and numerous species of birds, enjoy a barbecue lunch and relax on an empty beach, and finish off with a swim in a freshwater cenote. This tour is a must for nature lovers and active travelers.
Tour Program:
● 8:00 am-8.30: Pick up from the meeting point.
● Start the bike ride from the entrance of Sian Ka’an for about one hour until reaching our base to board a boat
● Continue your journey by water for 2 hours
● Return to the base, a traditional Caribbean house on the beach for lunch
● Free time on the beach
● 3.30-4pm get back onto your bikes and return to the entrance of the reserve
● Finish off with a dive into a cenote
● 5.30 pm-6:00 pm - Drop off at your hotel.
