Description
If you are ready to snorkel in two of the best cenotes in Tulum, this is the ideal adventure for you!
We have two schedules for this activity, one starts at 8:00 am and the other at 1:30 pm. We will meet you at the meeting point in Tulum and from there we will go to two different points (Cenote Dos Ojos and Casa Cenote) always accompanied by an instructor with "Dive Master" certification. At each site we'll snorkel for approximately 1 hour.
Cenote Dos Ojos is undoubtedly the most photographed and filmed cenote in the Riviera Maya. These two neighboring cenotes, connected by a very large cavern, are part of one of the two largest underground rivers in the world.
Dos Ojos is formed by two drains approximately 70 meters in diameter, connected by a 400 meter long corridor.
In this tour you will be able to appreciate crystalline waters, the incredible play of lights that forms the sun when entering the water, stalactites, stalagmites, some fish and bats that live in a cave that bears his name (Bat Cave).
The water temperature all year round is between 24 ° and 25 ° (76-77 F).
The visibility through the water is incredible and offers wonderful light effects. It is very likely that you have never seen such crystal clear waters.
Definitely an activity in a unique place! Prepare to feel the energy of the Maya underworld!
Casa Cenote, also known as "Cenote Manatí", is located 10 minutes from the meeting point.
It has natural rock formations that help us to have access to water. This cenote is connected to the ocean, so you can find both freshwater and saltwater fish, such as small groupers, barracudas, blue crabs and tarpon.
Depending on the schedule you have selected, we will be coming back to the meeting point in Tulum at 12:30 pm or 6:00 pm.
